Dans
une recherche par mots clés ce sont les sites de forte notoriété qui s'affichent
en premier.
La notoriété d'un site est d'autant plus élevée que le nombre
de liens qui pointent sur l'une de ses pages est élevé, et que le Page Rank
des sites pointeurs est élevé.
The Page Rank
displayed in the fourth column of the table indicates
the site notoriety. It appears in the Google toolbar.
If a Net surfer performs
a keyword search, the sites with a high notoriety are displayed first.
The
notoriety of a Web site is all the more high as the number of links which point on
one of its pages is high, and that the Page Rank of the pointer sites is high.
